Woodland animals live in woods and forests.
  1. RED SQUIRRELs  ---> They live in pine forests and eat seeds and nuts.
  2. PINE MARTEN ---> They hunt birds and steal their eggs. They also eat berries.
  3. WILD CAT        ---> They are bigger than pet cats and have thick fur coat.
  4. TAWNY OWL    ---> They hunt in the night for mice and other small animals.
  5. BADGERs ---> They live underground and hunt at night.
  6. TOADs      ---> They hunt in the night for slugs and snails.
  7. HEDGEHOGs        ---> They live in woods, fields and garden and eat insects.
  8. FOX      ---> They live in woods, countryside, town, any place they are comfortable.
  9. FALLOW DEER--> They live in woodlands. Male have big horns called ANTLERs.
  10. WILD BOAR  ---> They eat roots and berries.
  11. WOODPECKER  ---> They make holes in tree bark to find and eat insects.
  12. OPOSSUM  ---> They can hang from a branch by its tail.
  13. RACCOONs ---> They eat everything specially fish and frogs.
  14. COYOTEs        ---> They are like fox who live in woodlands and on grassy plains.
  15. MINK    ---> They hunt at night. They live near water to catch fish.
  16. CHIPMUNKs ---> They store in their burrows and eat nuts and berries.
  17. BEAVERs      ---> They build a dam across stream and build their home there.
  18. WILD TURKEY        ---> They are like farm turkeys.
  19. PORCUPINEs --> They have spines called QUILLs, which protect them from other animals.
  20. BLACK BEAR     ---> They love to eat deer, eggs, fruits and berries.
  21. WOLVERINEs  ---> They live in North and hunt deers.
  22. FLYING SQUIRREL  ---> They can glide frm one tree to another.
  23. BOBCAT  ---> Their spotty coat makes it hard to see them through trees.
  24. BLUE JAYs  ---> They live in North and fly in winter.
